Information from website visitors of our customers

When a customer installs the Zumvu snippet, we process information about people who visit that customer's website and interact with the chatbot, forms and widgets. This can include chat messages, names, email addresses, phone numbers, answers to form questions, appointment details, pages viewed and behavioral signals such as exit intent. See Customers & website visitors.

Information from third parties

If you connect a third-party service such as a CRM, email or calendar tool, we receive the information needed to run that integration, as permitted by the permissions you grant.

03How we use information

  • Provide, operate, maintain and secure the Services.
  • Create and manage your account and process payments.
  • Deliver chatbot replies, capture leads, send notifications and sync data to your chosen CRM or other integrations.
  • Show analytics such as visitors, conversations, leads and conversion rate in your dashboard.
  • Provide support, respond to requests and send service messages such as security alerts and policy updates.
  • Improve and develop features, troubleshoot problems and measure performance.
  • Send product news and marketing where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time.
  • Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents, and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on these legal bases: performance of a contract, our legitimate interests, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

04Customers & website visitors

For information collected from a customer's website visitors, the customer decides why and how it is used. Zumvu acts as a service provider (data processor) on the customer's behalf.

If you are a visitor who interacted with a chatbot, form or widget powered by Zumvu on someone else's website, that website owner is responsible for the information you submitted. Please read their privacy policy and contact them directly to access, correct or delete your information. We will help them respond to your request where we can.

Customers are responsible for providing any required notices to their visitors, obtaining any required consent (including for cookies and marketing), and making sure their use of the Services complies with applicable law.
